I found the shelf unit at the Habitat for Humanity store (Goodwill is another good place to find goodies and yard sales). Light with grow bulbs from Lowe's Hardware. Sometimes thrift stores have used light fixtures too (the top light is black and found at a thrift store for $4). Used plastic tubs had donuts delivered to a local food pantry. I rescued the tubs from their recycling bins... now have mesclun salad mix, sorrell, rainbow swiss chard, kale, oregano, sorrell and lots of goodies to munch on when they get bigger!!
