Karen Ann-Marie wins the 2012 CMA R&B Showcase

Congratulations to “Young Toon” for winning the Charlotte Music Awards 2012 Hip Hop Showcase and Karen Ann-Marie for winning the R&B Showcase at the Saloon at the NC Music Factory, November 4th. Both of these artists will proceed to the Red Carpet Affair for the Charlotte Music awards. We appreciate all nominees who performed, Majur, Pilot Obi, Lady K, Reggie Rymes, Frisco Kaydence, Celzius, Ismail, Vee Boi Baby, The Story, Shekeyla Caldwell, FirstLady Shea, BrandoLandocommando and Annie Adams.

A big shout out to Ms. Kelz and J Rob for a fantastic job as emcees for the event and DJ Samoht for keepin it real all night. Thanks to Matt Slater for furnishing the sound, Jeff Barnes, manager of the Saloon, all of the judges: Matt Slater, Rick Nash, Shantel Monique and Stacey Camp.
